A car cannot move without a fuel to start the engine. An airplane cannot fly without a wind to carry it in the air. Men cannot live without your lungs receiving and giving out oxygen to the rest of the body. Without these, life is vulnerable. In the same vein a true believer cannot operate in power without acknowledging the Power of the Holy Ghost.

Earlier in my life, there were songs we sang that made us believe that the Holy Ghost is not a divine person and we usually referred to as “it”. But the Holy Spirit is not merely a Person, He is a divine Person. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus told His disciples to go everywhere, baptizing believers “in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Apart from the divinity of the Holy Ghost, He is the Power of God at work in men. Remember in creation, God breathed unto man and the man who was a dust became a living soul. One way we can experience His presence is whenever He comes into our life, He brings life. When you give your life to Christ, He puts out your old “dust “self and replace you with life. In His presence you experience Life so today may you receive life in Jesus name.

Apart from Life, in the presence of the Holy Ghost, there is a manifestation and the demonstration of power. Jesus said “you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost comes upon you”. This is a clear evidence of the Holy Ghost in a life of the believer. You receive power. Power to dominate and operate in the supernatural. All the disciples were in a hiding in the upper room in fear but when they received the power of the Holy Ghost, they boldly came out, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, may you also come out boldly in Jesus name

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”
