Daily Quote: Your stress was nailed on the cross, cast all your burdens on Him – Michael Gyekye
Bible in One Year -Jeremiah 42:1-44:23 2 Timothy 2:1-21 Psalm 92:1-93 Proverbs
26:3-5
I believe what is sending some of us into an early grave is
stress. Many diseases are related to stress and studies have found many health
problems are related to stress. Stress seems to worsen or increase the risk of
conditions like obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes,
depression, gastrointestinal problems, and asthma. Many attributes some of
these diseases only to the devil but how you manage your stress matter.
I have been very busy of late. Very stressed on every side. We
find pressures pressing in on every side. We find ourselves pressed to the wall
because of these anxieties producing phenomena’s. So how do we handle stress? First,
allow God to be the center of all affairs and you take rest in Him. Cast all
your burden (all your stress life) for He cares. Jesus did not only die for you;
He lives for you. That is why Apostle Paul said “For me to live is Christ”. Because
He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Jesus demonstrated to us through his life and ministry the
right steps to take in dealing with the stress of life. We remember in the
middle of a storm, whiles the disciples weeping and wailing, Jesus was
sleeping. The picture of this is not clear, but only Jesus can do this. How can
you sleep in the middle of such a great storm? Maybe you are asking the same
question; how can I give birth since the doctor has declared me, I have no
womb. How can I marry since I have a child already, how can this be? The good
news is that, Jesus is alive, when you wake Him up in prayer, He will calm the storm
for you.
Stop crying and wake your Jesus up in prayer. Prayer directs
our attention on God to do the impossible. It is a call to God to remind Him of
His promises and covenants He made with our fathers. Today as you join us to
pray at this year’s “Enough id Enough 2016”, Jesus who is the King of Kings,
will calm every storm in your life.
“Enough is Enough 2016" is coming off November 5, at PIWC-NY, 1600 Adams St, NY 10460, 4pm-9:30pm. It is a 5-hour prayer, the word, praise and worship, deliverance program, aimed to cry unto God for the impossible. It is a platform for a miraculous breakthrough. Many men of God are coming as well as Gospel artists. God is there so be there. God bless you in Jesus precious name.
Note this:
God loves you and wants to set you free. Jesus died for you and salvation is the gateway for divine blessings and abundance. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith, please pray this prayer
“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'
Prayers for Today
