On this Christmas Day, I would like to specially wish you a
Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year. I would like to tell you that, this
is the most celebrated religious holiday. Beloved, people from other religions
do observe this day. They admire the enthusiasm and the aura of love and peace
that this season brings. Some join us in churches and other functions just to
celebrate and observe this day with us.
Why so? Jesus is a gift from God to the world. Jesus is not
only to the Jews or some group of people but to all. Bible says “For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life”. Jesus came to save
us all. He is a gift of God that became a ransom to be paid for all our sins. By
believing in Him, you have fulfilled the mission of God to bring mankind unto
Him.
All the inns were full and hopes and aspirations were gone
but, the hope for mankind wasn’t lost but was found in a manger. Do not
underestimate your manger. It can be poor looking and old; weak and feeble,
very unpopular and not famous, but if you can accept that gift in a manger God
will open a supernatural breakthrough for you.
So, what are doing today? Where are you going to be today? Remember
Jesus is the reason for this day. Don’t celebrate this outdooring by leaving
the baby behind so instead of a child’s birthday it will turn out to be adult’s
day out. Make this baby thee center of the celebration. Jesus is the reason of
this day. Merry Christmas to you and all your family.
