Giving allows you to be given. Your tithes, your offerings and other gifts of love to the Lord go a long way to secure your own future. When you give, you prolong your life. This was so for a woman who died and her name was called Dorcas. In Acts 9:36-40, the Bible says she was always doing good and helping the poor. But she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room, they urgently call for Apostle Peter, they told her the need to bring this woman to life because she was a die heart giver. 

More also, you will receive financial and other favors when you give. Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38). And from our main text, “A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men.”

Remember this that God doesn’t need your money or your properties you can give. Also, He doesn’t need you to build His Church, He said; “I will build my Church”. Not we or they will build, but Him and Him alone can without your effort. So, don’t think if you give you are helping the Pastor or the church but you help yourself. You and you alone benefit. The widow of Zarephath gave her all and she benefit them all.

If you die, the church will still function. So be careful of this blasphemy that pastors eat the tithes and offering. Give, and when you give, Christ receives; and as He does, favor is released in exchange. What you give determines what you get. So, watch your heart carefully before you engage in giving – #14day30daysoffavor.

Note this: 

God loves you and wants to set you free. Jesus died for you and salvation is the gateway for divine blessings and abundance. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

Prayers for Today

1. Father, grant me the needed grace to do good at all times in Jesus name.
2. Father, I operate in integrity and I seek to do good in Your sight daily.  As a result I obtain Your favor and I experience Your best!  (Prov 11:27; 12:2)
3. Father, favor me on every-side this year in Jesus name.
