I used this week to unveil this mystery of divine favor to you. To conclude I want to touch on the need for divine favor. Why the need for divine favor? This is because man is helpless. When sometimes I look at men and women and the way we are suffering, all I can say is that we are helpless. Bible even says in Jeremiah 17:5 that “This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD”. Remember this is what the Lord who created the man is saying, if you draw your strength from a man, you shall fall into a curse, because all of you are helpless.

Again, we live in an evil world. In 1 John 5:19, the Bible says “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness”. We are of the Lord but this world lies in wickedness. Men are killing, many wars and terrorist actions, greediness is at every corner. Look at demonic activities going around the world and even in our own country. No place is safe now. Disappointment and disloyalty all around even in the church. So it takes only God’s unmerited favor to survive.

We need His favor to survive in this competitive world. We are at war, that is why the Bible refers to us as soldiers as in 2 Timothy 2:4 “No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier”. Also, we are on a race. In 1 Corinthians 9:24 the bible says “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win”. Apostle Paul caught the mystery here. It is not about who runs but the way you run, run so you may win. Divine favor can easily bring the last to last to first and the first to last.

We need the Lord’s favor because He sees what we cannot see. I Corinthians 2:9 says “However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him”. Why will God prepare to only those who love Him? It answers to divine favor. You are going up higher this year. – #6dayof30daysoffavor

Note this: 

God loves you and wants to set you free. Jesus died for you and salvation is the gateway for divine blessings and abundance. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'
