Topic: Day #7 of Favor 2017

I hope you have had a blessed seven days of God’s word. This week we are looking at principles that attract divine favor. Why principles? This is because they are the path that allows excellence. The path of the righteous or the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day as in Proverbs 4:18. Life principles cannot be turned nor forsaken. You cannot enter your own car without a key, no matter your investment in that, it does not respond to your cry or worries, you just need to get the key. So, let’s look at the keys.

The first key for this week is godliness. It is the state of righteousness or holiness. All who attracted divine favor were holy or righteous people. Mary was a virgin. She was not flirting with men or living a worldly life. God found her and called her blessed. Where God is or whom God can use must be holy because He is Holy.

Godliness will always produce greatness even during opposition and challenges. Look at Joseph. He was a godly man. He had all the opportunities to retaliate all oppositions but, because he was a godly man. He refused to defile himself with Potiphar’s wife. And by doing so, he ascended to the throne to become the second in command in the great nation of Egypt.  

All uniquely favored men in the bible like Joseph, Job, and Daniel were lifted because of their godliness. Daniel refused to defile himself with the food served for idols. He requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs and after, their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies.  Godliness pays! - #7day30daysoffavor

God loves you and wants to set you free. Jesus died for you and salvation is the gateway for divine blessings and abundance. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

1. Father, create in me a clean heart so that I may walk with thee. O lord, anoint me with divine favor in Jesus name
   Father, I erase with the blood of Jesus marks of disappointment, marks of sorrow, marks of hatred, marks of poverty, marks of ill-luck, marks of sicknesses, marks of failure, marks of trouble and every other visible or invisible mark.
