To continue from our series, we also remember that God’s supernatural and divine favor rested on David as he defeated Goliath and later was given the kingdom while being protected repeatedly against his enemies. God even called David “a man after his own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14). Look, David was not in the army and he hasn’t even been qualified, yet divine favor qualified him straight away. He went ahead, took Goliath by surprise, cut of his head, but, there was no sword in David’s hands. This shall be your story my dear friend this year. You shall overcome with no stress.

I have learnt not to covet anything apart from spiritual gifts. Because, man’s agenda is out of God’s own. Solomon was favored by his father to become the next king whiles there were highly qualified David’s sons who could have taken his place. Solomon was a son out of adultery but became a king. Divine favor rested on him and God restored him in the end. He was the wisest king in the world. He attracted the world’s attention. This year, you will attract the world’s attention, and divine favor will take you there.

So much favor rested on the life of Job that God restored twice what was taken from him. God’s favor rested on the prophets so amazingly that when Nebuchadnezzar seized Jerusalem in 586 B.C., he ordered that Jeremiah be freed from prison and be treated well. The list of examples of divine favor is endless! Even our precious Lord Jesus, who escaped harm time after time, experienced His Father’s divine favor.

The apostles were favored by the people and the authorities could not touch them or stop them from preaching the Gospel. Paul the apostle was given favor by the Romans themselves and protected from death when the Jews tried to kill him. He was rescued more than once, with God preserving his life repeatedly. God did not favor just those living in Bible days. His tender, loving favor belongs to you just as it did to Daniel. May you receive His divine favor in Jesus name. - #21dayof30daysoffavor.

Note this: 

God loves you and wants to set you free. Jesus died for you and salvation is the gateway for divine blessings and abundance. If you are not born again, you are not free. If you want to be born again today by giving your life to Christ, or you want to renew your faith,  please pray this prayer 

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”'

1. Father, as Daniel and Solomon were favored, favor me in Jesus name.
2. Father, cleanse me from all sins that will drive me away from you today.
3. Father, grant me the tenacity, love and passion for your work in Jesus name.
4. Father, make me more stronger, wise and spiritual this year in Jesus name.
